It'd been an eventful few days, although Moorhen did not know the half of it. There had been a strange smell, and they had moved. She'd been carried by Szymon across a strange and alien land, and had - for the first time - laid eyes on the sea. The girl knew from Doe's stories that it was the sea, for it stretched on beyond anything she'd ever dreamed possible - longer than the the roof of the Stone Den was high.

And they were in a Different Place, now. Moor wondered when they would return to the Stone Den, to home, but in short order, all the comforts of that place were transfered to the new one. Her siblings, the furs, and eventually, even Doe and Muses. Szymon had watched them in-between, and Moorhen didn't mind her uncle, but it made her anxious to have both of her primary caretakers so far away.

But she'd slept all that off. The New Place was there home, now, and that was that, but after being shown that there was so much... more than stone walls and darkness, the child could not be kept inside much longer. As soon as she and her siblings were left alone, she strutted freely into the light, mimmicking the wary stance of her uncle as she emerged into the light, blinked into the sun for the first time.

For a moment, she simply stood there, gazing around.
