Kieran nodded, partly understanding. The things had Hawthorn had had to face - they would take time to heal, and waiting was hard. The prince turned his head with a softened gaze. "Yes, I will. And thanks," he replied, glad that the two seemed to finally be getting along. And, now, they both had one another to watch each others backs. That was always a good thing, and it filled Kieran with joy. He had a friend that wasn't his sister!

"It's just that... some people probably don't want to be helped, I guess." he replied, shrugging his shoulders. It sounded reasonable, and understandable. "Well, I mean, I can't predict the future, but it always turns out alright if you look on the bright side. That's what I was told." A positive view over things always helped. For example, at least Hawthorn didn't have to live with Alder or Aspen anymore, right? They must have been pretty awful parents to abandon Rose and Haw like that.
