Diluculo had been scarce ever since the bear attack. She didn’t respond to the call from Pump merely because she was lazy. A small, elder she wolf could do very little against a bear. Gavriil, Pump, and Ragnar surly had no problems driving the brute out of sight. She would be in the least scolded for her absence.
When the female caught the alpha’s scent she thought of running, the coward in her heart almost took over. Quickly with as much grace and honor that she could muster the female set off on tracking down her Alpha, Pump.
Within minutes she came across the ebony wolf-dog’s position. Watching she saw the female back away from a tree. A light dash of fear was mixed in with the scents of the forest. Diluculo tilted her head in curiosity and then called out to the she wolf. ”Hey, I didn’t know trees were that intimidating to you.”
