Her sister pushes away her attempts at departing and she grunts, narrowing her eyes as she contemplates shoving her right back. But she does not fight for the sake of pettiness. She is her mother's daughter and she does not fall to childish banter. Instead, she casts one look to the dying man and turns, departing with less emotion than she arrived. She does not care for her sister's antics and feels little for the effect such a scene may have on Airi's emotional state. It is clear that nothing impacts her triplet at all, and Kaori does not wish to stick around to see her sister become something equivalent of a monster.
