Though she was loath to go any further inland than she was currently, Maude found herself adjusting. Slightly. She still longed for the sea, for the wild freedom she had as a pirate, even as a part of Saltwinter. But her loyalty to Kjalarr, a crippling thing, anchored her in Neverwinter instead, and she found herself drifting inland.
Dirt never stuck well with her. It was too fine, prone to becoming mud. Sand was sleek and slippery, the water sliding through instead of remaining trapped. She was reminded of this as she stepped into the meadow, still damp from the melting snow, a grimace of disgust as she felt the ground squelch underneath her weight. What was she even doing here?
Maude identifies as female, but is physically male.
(She also swears like a (literal) sailor)
