Sunny doesn’t seem too pleased for the apologetic kisses she’d given him and so Adeline frowns. He pulls away and says it’s okay and it doesn’t quite feel okay but she tries to brush it off. The boy is quick to change the subject and Adeline works to pick herself up a little make herself comfortable. “Yeah, everything is okay,” she tells him. Her eyes drift to Dawn, still asleep, but she doesn’t make a move to try and wake her. “I think he just went somewhere real quick; he’ll be back.” Her voice is hopefully reassuring him enough that he doesn’t stress to much about where Grayday had gone but she didn’t know the boy that well even if they’ve shared a den for weeks. Their one on one time has been minimal but she hopes to change that now that he’s getting bigger and more solid on his legs.
