Why he had found himself back into the lands he had abandoned so long ago was a mystery even to him. Perhaps it was a desire to relive the past - to reimagine the world as it had once been. Maybe he hoped to find remnants of better times, traces of others lost long ago. Nothing else was seeking him - a broken man in a broken world, just wandering to find whatever he desired. The plains were coated in a light dusting of snow, reminding him of times he'd rather not think about. His greying muzzle told him he should be past all of this, but his mind was not ready to let go entirely just yet. With the right wolves, the right spirits about him, he could find happiness again - but even this was unsure.
