He hadn't been able to fix things, but it looked like Nanook could, at least in part, and for that he was glad. "It's nice to meet ya," he said with a soft smile. "Bye Krypton!" he said as Krypton departed and then he looked back to Valette.

"We found a pack in the mountains," Nikai said, directing the words at Valette, "It's mostly young wolves. They helped Keenie when she was hurt." He hadn't gotten around to informing his mother of the things he'd seen, so now seemed as good a time as any.
