Gyrfalcon's Keep Night & morning with my tears

Her nose wrinkles and she wiggles, groaning and growling her way through the onslaught by her newest friend. When he comes too still, she gathers her attention and swings her head, looking up at him with wonder in her eyes. There are so few wolves Qilaq feels so comfortable around that she wants to hold this boy close to her chest and never let him go. She wants to take him by the paw and lead him all the way to Silas and show him off, wants to take the two of them all the way back to where her parents have settled and stay there forever where it is safe.
 
She swallows a small lump in her throat and gives him a smile, booping her nose gently against his and settling in the position despite the lack of comfort.
