Granted, they never had their own territory, it seemed there were different rules for being in a pack. Redshank wasn't sure if he quite agreed with them but Rannoch was the Alpha; his word was law despite the objections the younger boy had. His shoulders deflated a little and he went back to idly nosing around in the dirt as he continued to listen.
