Her and @Dawn had made the slow and steady treck to the Firestone Hot Springs. Delayed by the pase they had to take considering Dawn's recent injuries that she seemed to insist on healing slowly as she was always moving rather then resting. But this seemed to be somewhat of a compromise for the two pack members, medic and patient. They had planned on traveling to the springs so that Dawn could wade in the water, strengthening her broken bones to heal and relaxing her tense muscles.
It was something Pema had never tried before, and had only heard about in theory. Dawn would be her patient in both a medical and experimental sence. She would need to know how well this treatment actually worked if this situation were to occur again. The trip wasn't too far from the plateau, but with an injured individual, one that might be more injured then Dawn, she wanted to know if the treatment outweighed the effort of the trip.
Dawn had gotten pretty good at walking on three legs, but Pema still offered her support over some of the more difficult terrains. When they finally got there the heat of the pools rose up into the air. White misty clouds filling the air. Looking over at Dawn she said, "We've made it. Now we just need to find one that's big enough for you, but not too deep." she needed Dawn to be floating, not swimming.
