Phantom Hollow Say it ain't so[m + trigger warning]

It was stupid that she hadn't simply bolted away but the foolishness of her actions was ignored as she tasted his blood in her maw. Just as quickly as it came the fierce satisfaction was ruined as he sprung back at her, burning sharp pains shooting through her flesh as he tore apart her scruff and back. 

When he shoved her away she didn't give him the chance to do anything else. As their eyes met she whined and bolted away in the direction of the lake, her pain being voiced quietly through whining breaths as she distanced herself from this man. This man...who was not good. This man who was so blatantly evil. It had shattered her views and how she had been taught to see the world. She didn't stop to rest until she collapsed to the ground unable to continue a good distance away.
