The shadow felt a flash of guilt at how gentle Engel was with her. The feeling didn't last long, because they were in the middle of something and Tine was an inherently selfish being. It was there nonetheless, and noted before she could stop it.
She quickly lost herself in a new appreciation for the feelings that accompanied this act. The first time had been awkward and too unfamiliar for her to enjoy it. Now, though, she was far more responsive. Tine was vocal through it, whining and occasionally murmuring Engel's name. She wondered briefly if this was love. Maybe that was why he spoke of it so fondly. But no, she decided quickly, it couldn't be that simple. There had to be more to it.
When Engel pressed his face close to hers, Tine tilted her head to rub her muzzle against his. She wasn't sure she liked this-- mixing affection with what they were doing. It was an uncomfortable part for her, and perhaps would always be such, but she thought he might appreciate it more than she did.
