Moonspear positively shook [bwp]

Weather: 15°F, partly cloudy.

There was one of those giant growling black birds hovering overhead, and Dune quickly sought cover under a patch of trees. He did not know what the giant creatures were, nor how they were connected to his gift, but he did know that they were terrifying. However, after awhile, he grew a bit more accustomed to the sound. Cautiously, he stepped out from his cover, peering up at the black thing that hung overhead. It did not look like any bird he had ever seen before, and he had assumed it was something from the south, but it seemed none of the others had seen them before either.

Then, as quickly as it had come, it was gone, its movement so unnatural that Dune had a hard time fathoming that the thing was real. It left him positively shook. In an effort to calm himself, he yawned, then scratched at the gift again. It all felt so ominous.
