Dante was up with the sun, as usual, though today he broke from the norm. Instead of heading straight out to hunt or for a walk about the territory he stayed where he was, silently contemplating. It still blew his mind that Peregrine had named him Gamma, but with that came some measure of responsibility. Suddenly he was that much more invested in making sure that the pack ran as smoothly as possible. And this meant ensuring that everyone was happy.

He hadn't seen Fireblaze since he had met her hunting, but since she was the newest one here, he wondered how she was settling in. Making up his mind, he rose, setting off to find her.
