Instead of linger in the mountains for the last remaining cold days, he’s moved toward a place he feels home. The last time he’d been there, however, it had been relatively empty save for a new mute friend. Maybe she’s still there. But, he stops abruptly when stronger scents are place neatly, planned, and only get thicker the closer he gets. Ukko slows to a stop and licks his lips, promptly frowning. There’d been no indication last time anyone had been settling and he wonders how long these wolves have been here.
 
In the distance, a silhouette of a wolf begins to take shape, giving away to features and colors and his attention remains on her as she gets close enough to determine if she’ll be hostile. He’s careful, moving a little and chuffing his friendly-enough intent and somewhat curious nature.
