Thuringwethil glares at Blixen as she attempts to toss blame back and forth with the boy, but is quick to return her attention to their neighbor. He does not even consider the demand to hand Arrille over but Thuringwethil offers nothing to indicate she’s surprise. She watches as he attempts to defend their actions, claiming they’re on the right side, and she can’t help but wonder if he is as naïve as he sounds.

Deciding it is his time to leave, she does not make a move to try and keep him here any longer other than a hard look that dared him to move. She is so, so tired of one string after another of bad things.
