Engel watched as his Captain paced back and forth now. Engel shook his head. "No it...it may have been, I didn't get a good look. All I saw was her running at the water...then on the sand. With gaping wounds..." This of course, was a lie. But he had promised to tell a tale of her bravery. And he had not seen all of it so this was the best he could.
"I had been foolish, trying to get a simple fish and it ended with her death" he said sadly, with a dull whine.
