While Seelie and Faeryn entertained themselves with their own conversation, Droman continued on with his fascinated stare. There was so much about this world that the young boy longed to learn, so much that he yearned to see, but alas, his short legs could only carry him so far. One day, after he'd done all of the growing that he could do, Droman knew that he would get his chance to see what else was hiding from him beyond the isle.

See that? he exclaimed, turning around with an excited wag of his tail, Look at that! It's so wow! Out there, not so far from the shore, sleek fins peeked out above the water as sea creatures did their dance below its surface. Lookie! Without thinking much, Droman bounded out into the water until it rose to his chin and watched with his head held high, hoping for a better view.
