I wouldn't quote me on it but I'm pretty sure Týr had left before Jace joined SC sooo I'm just going to say that he doesn't know Jace just to make it easier. :P

There wasn’t much time between the howl to quell his curiosity and the realization of what it might imply to any one that responded to it, especially if it was a leader who came to indulge the curious loner at their borders. Chocolate colored ears slicked back to stand at half mast atop his skull, the soft but handsome quintessential royal look that Týr carried, refined and finesse despite Ragnar and Floki’s best efforts to make him ‘savage’ and their endless teasing about his ‘smoothed edges’ pulling into a introspective expression. He knew nothing about this pack and it was perfectly logical to not be jumping the gun to join them given that. Týr was an intellectual being and he was not so desperate. The approach of an ebon male, his stance dominate giving the rekkr the distinct impression that he was a leader if not the leader. Imperative details that border scents alone could not tell him. Týr did not fully submit to the point of exposing his throat though he did alter his stance to one of polite respect regardless.

The question the other asked was so stereotypical to Týr. It was the one he was sure all packs asked: why are you where with the implied but unspecified why are you here? He supposed his answer, in return, should have been as equally as stereotypical: I want to join, except he didn’t know that yet. So, therefore, it wasn’t going to spill from his lips, yet. “I am curious about your pack. How your ranks work, who the other leaders are, your politics.” Týr stated simply, truthfully not bothering apologizing for wanting to delve deep into how their pack worked. After all, in reality, they probably didn’t really need him and he didn’t really need them so he wanted to know all about a pack before he made that kind of commitment.
