Kalganov was like a vulture to misery. Granted he had no real way of knowing this. Maybe he was just drawn to negative energy or something like that.

The pale form on the river pulled his interest. It looked like they were breathing real heavy while slumped on the ground. The first thought to cross his mind was that maybe they were dying. A sneer crossed his features to think he could be the last face this stranger saw. Such a pity it wasn't a face of comfort.

Well, are you going to get in or just watch it? He questioned with a raised brow, nose motioning at the water. Kalganov could give a little push if it was needed. While he remained a few feet away from the pale stranger, it was obvious the young male wasn't going anywhere just yet.
