Elixir stopped in front of the fawn who was frozen in her steps. Elixir sort of felt bad for it, but her belly didn’t. Grezig went for the mother and Elixir followed, grazing her teeth down her side. When she drew back she saw the mother was maimed. When Kavik got over they could take her down but for now her mind wondered to the fawn. 

Elixir looked over and she was still froze, as would Elixir if her mother was just attacked in front of her face. “Her too?” She asked motioning to the baby with pity in her voice. If she could she would take care of her but it was life and life called for her stomach to be full on whatever was young and could be killed. Elixir waited for the response as she walked over to the fawn.
