Things had not changed much in the last weeks, everyone was busy with something else and Nunataq was left to her own devices. She did a little hunting, a little wandering around, a little patrolling and a little mischief as well, but the latter these days was neglected just as much as the first three activities. No one cared and, though Nuna had never been the one to be appraisal-thirsty, it felt kind of pointless trying hard all the time, when there was no one to correct her mistakes and tell her, how to do things better.

Therefore, when a call from the borders raised in the air, Nunataq, who had been busy deciding, what use could an old and mossy tree-stump be to the world, was happy to leave this silly task and run towards the real business. Just think - the chance to fulfill her purpose, to be rightfully growly and unfriendly, and defend your home. And, if she did all these things well, then would adults finally notice her again.

But by the time Nunataq got to the culprit of action, Indra had beaten her to it. And, since the aura of her caretaker had not changed the least from what it had been this whole time (in brief - no fun), Nuna gave her a brief, indifferent look and then went on to greet the stranger (who was not such at all) with a lot more cordiality in her features. She remembered well their recent encounter in Wapun meadow, the hunt they had had together. And - oh - she had even brought them a gift! With a wagging tail she first acknowledged her friend and then went on to inspect the rabbit curiously.
