It seemed that she was calling for him since she was already here. Not something he took offense to. He was at least glad she had thought of him. He wouldn't have been upset, either, if she had chose to return to Easthollow without seeing him, knowing that her heart had been broken so recently. She said she was better, and he wondered how accurate that was. Sure, she was the only one who knew. But, he didn't want her pressuring herself into anything with him if she wasn't ready.
