Stockholm had been dozing; drifting in and out of that pleasant place between fully asleep and completely awake, the warmth of Seelie’s small figure tucked against his back. When he had first drifted off, several of their children had been part of the pile, but when a sound stirs him awake he finds that all four are now absent. It is not an alarming thing though, by any means. The Labyrinth is where they had been raised from day one, he was certain they knew every inch of it by heart now, and could navigate it with ease.

He lifts his head from the ground and cups his ears before slowly rolling over so as not to wake Seelie as he gets to his feet. His movements start out slow, muscles stiff from the healing injuries, but once he gets going his gait is much smoother and the limp much less noticeable than it had previously been.

The Overseer makes his way towards the entrance, the breeze from outside carrying a pair of familiar scents and he smiles at the quiet sound of Thresher’s voice. He steps out into the light behind his daughter moments later, tail swaying back and forth slowly in a lazy wag. “Rokig,” he greets warmly, pleased to see the Seawolf as their paths had not crossed again since that day on the beach with Aditya.
