She grinned at his reply. It had hit all the right spots, and she was glad to have brought some humor into his day. When he suggested they rest, she murmured in agreement, but removed herself from his side. She did not need to add fuel to any suspicion that she might be doing things she shouldn’t be doing. She made her way to a wolf-sized depression in the ground only a dozen or so paces away and curled up for the night there. It was chilly, but she had been colder in the past. At least there were the two of them close to each other in case anything crept up on them. It wouldn't be long before she was fast asleep.
