He takes her admission with the same carefree stride as he has everything else thus far (though some part of him is glad she isn't said traitor or lawbreaker).  Mom and Pop are nice and all, but there's only so much there for you when everyone's older 'n you and you're related to everyone, too.  It had been easy enough for him to leave.  Hey Ma, hey Pa, I'm gonna go out and see the world.  They didn't mind too much.
