Sawtooth Spire decisions

Its sudden hop forward and louder hoot startled Amsu, who took a few quick steps back. He was not about to cross talons with an angry owl, for those talons could probably kill him if given the chance. But the bird immediately calmed down again, so Amsu relaxed. Tentatively, he sat down and watched the bird. This was a very strange thing, indeed, to happen to him. This owl was acting outside of its usual nature… Perhaps it was a sign from the Light. After all, birds were sacred animals, communing with the Light more than most land-dwelling creatures. Perhaps the owl was there to lead him somewhere, or to let him know something. Amsu stood up cautiously and asked, “Are you here to tell me something?” He took a small step forward, his tail wagging.
