They started towards the beach now, Saucy appeared to follow him at first but then sped up to be ahead of him. She turned her head to look at his over her shoulder when he invited her to weave a tale. The two wolves were almost childish in their games, they were trapped in a perpetual round of ‘beat that’. Saucy just couldn’t say no to a challenge of any sort.
Oh yeah, I bet you didn’t see a fish fly out of a river and hit a bird right in the balls,she replied with a familiar grin. She dared him to beat that, if he even believed it. But frankly, she didn’t believe him either.
