from behind her, ketzia's smoky voice reverberated through the darkness. finch glanced over to her, emeralnd eyes contrasting beautifully against her brighter coat as she stood, a beacon of light amongst the blackness of the sky. she knew not of ketzia's past, when the words of the stars burning the earth came, finch couldn't help but wonder what such a sight would look like. tearing her sight away from her packmate, she looked towards the heavens once more, picturing the hot streaks of light landing upon the peaks of mountainsides. wildfires burning bright, consuming the darkness, swallowing it up: only the fire remains now.
ketzia, respectfully so, informed the blackened woman in front of them how close she was to a claim. finch turned her attention towards the hellion, swivelling her ears. it took a few moments, but upon hearing the words her bright packmate spoke, the stranger started her own monologue. her talents mentioned: fighting. hunting. midwifing. asking then if she may be of use, and finch's senses pitch. ,,i believe you could be,'' her words start softly, shifting her position as if to direct her attention fully to the stranger in front of her. ,,the land before you belongs to disapora. we are a nomadic pack, our gunsmoke general guiding the way alongside his shadow of a companion.'' she moves a little closer to the stranger in a half-circle as the words escape her throat. ,,i believe you could be a valuable member to us: whilst hunting is something we are no stranger to, we lack members with significant medicinal knowledge. does this seem like something you would be interested in joining?'' she keeps her words steady, her demeanor confident. whilst she was highly ranked enough in the pack to accept new members on her own, she would likely still call for @Stigmata and @Mahler, to make them aware & hopefully, accepting.
