velen came to slowly; it had only been a few seconds that he'd been out. saucy's laughter rang over him, and he groaned, rolling to his back and flinging a broad paw over his face "duuuude," was all the boy could eke out for the present. his head rang fiercely, and the flush of shame raced through his body.
"welp. looks like you won that race," velen chuckled a few moments later, lifting himself to a sitting position and rolling his jaw. "really took myself out like an idiot." but his tongue still lolled in a good-natured grin as he glanced to saucy, wondering how the girl would roast him now.
blisteringly, it turned out, and no matter how velen rallied, he simply could do nothing about it. they parted ways some hours after, still both amused by their respective antics.
