Moonspear rock the boat

Nikai watched the good-bye between parents and daughter silently. He wondered if he should offer Alya some more time to say good-bye to her parents, but then, she seemed eager to go. Maybe it would only unearth more questions. Alya's mother picked up on what he had said about letting them know, and he nodded in silent promise. Once he and Alya made up their mind, he'd make sure to inform them one way or another. Right now it was all still up in the air, and Nikai was unsure whether they'd settle at Easthollow or if they'd return to find their home on Moonspear instead. Or maybe something else altogether. You never knew when you were a pair of travel-lusty wolves, even if Nikai's leg wouldn't permit him as much travel as before.

He waited until Alya was ready to depart, ready to go any moment and though tired, giddy for the journey they were about to undertake.
