"I'm looking for a master" he corrected with a smile before adding "I'm a champion you see - a loyal servant searching for his eternal commander to faithful serve till death." While it certainly was not a mateship he did find the idea of master and servant rather romantic, I mean after all the bond meant to form between him and his chosen commander would be one strong enough to have mountains quake in their path.
