Or he simply had managed to gain her liking and respect by being cool.

Anyway, she recognized him from afar and in full speed loped to meet him. Were they to crush mid-way or manage to hit brakes in the last moment is up for fate to decide. Either way - it was very obvious that the girl was very, very happy to see the fellow.
