the trip was shorter than she assumed, though it was a distance in itself. she did not know how Liri managed with three limbs, and her respect for the woman's endurance grew. Heloise would have felt burdened if she was in the same position. four good legs were required for traveling and defending oneself. that was merely her opinion, however. it did not make the other any less in her eyes. 

carrying the marigold, she mutely made her way to the small group. Liri was in front, a constant in their lives thus far, and Heloise would hang back as she was introduced. Sisqa and Sorin. she kept her surprised to herself, for they were both men taking obvious order from a woman of no pack rank. it was something she would enjoy seeing more of, yes. bending down, she would rest the marigold on the spring ground and raise her skull once more.
