Arrow Lake Win Or Lose, I'm still on top

She had woken up that morning with a fire in her blood. She had done what she said she would, she had proven her worth, earned a place in Diaspora and then stayed in that place to show her loyalty before doing anything else. Now she was ready to show her drive for success, to show she wanted a place closer to the leaders, to show she wanted a spot where she could assist in greater matters instead of just providing food and protection. 

She spent the morning trying to figure out who to challenge. She respected Ruenna too much to wish the woman usurped though she knew eventually it would have to happen if she didn't claim the rank naturally. Takiyok was pregnant. That was out and besides....her rank was too high, it would come across as cocky. Everyone else was a stranger to her....except Thorn. She contemplated it while taking a drink from the lake. His rank was only one above hers, it wouldn't do much if she won or lost. It would however show that she was intent upon rising in the ranks, perhaps it would gain the attention of her leaders, perhaps they would give her another task to show her worth.

Having decided upon it she sought out the Tessarius and approached him with her tail held over her back and ears perked forward, expression serious and eyes sharp as she silently communicated the challenge. Her demeanor held no violent intent but it was clear that she meant business and would fight for the rank to her fullest ability.
