Heron Lake Plateau this doesn't belong here

Bat had convinced herself that @Tegan didn't much care about her anymore. What else would explain his weird behavior since her return? It was pretty painful, especially after seeing him with Poe, and she wanted to leave sooner than later. It was tempting to simply hit the road without looking back. But whether or not he gave a damn, Bat didn't want to leave without saying goodbye.

She planted her feet at the foot of the plateau and howled loudly, letting anyone who cared know that she would be leaving soon. Bat intended to hang out in case anyone wanted to come wish her farewell in person, though she wouldn't hold her breath. She would give it twenty minutes, tops, then she would go collect @Sequoia and head for the horizon.
