He growled as he kept right behind the boy, his tail just close enough for him to grab with a well timed bite. He jumped closer his breath coming in even but excited bursts before he took a chance and grabbed for his prey, jaws closing around the appendage and holding tight as he slowed providing resistance. The boy could either rip his own tail off getting away or he could stay and face the fact that he had lost.
