Paarthurnax struggled to understand the bad blood between Swiftcurrent Creek and The Sunspire, though she wasn't sure that she wanted to ask someone about it. As a member of the pack, she supposed it was right that she carry her equal share of the obvious dislike for their neighbours, but it simply want in her nature to harbour hate. And at the same time, the scarlet beauty did not wish to give her comrades any reason to dislike her for not having their backs.
The worry over it made her head hurt, so Paarthurnax did not hesitate to cross the invisible borders for the first time since she'd joined Swiftcurrent's ranks. It felt good to get away from the tension that resided at home, to leave her solemn thoughts behind, and her heart leapt when she found herself amid a field of glorious wildflowers. She paused in her tracks to admire the view at the brow of a hill, to breathe in and fill her lungs with the sweet aroma.
Paar remained there for several minutes, her copper eyes bright with wonder, before she let go and sprinted full-pelt down the slope and deepwr into the meadow. She sent petals of various shades - purples, pinks, oranges, reds - fluttering into the air around with every stride, and she ran without a care in the world. She hopped over rocks and uneven ground with utmost grace, galloped through streams, picked up her pace on the flat, and sped through the dappled shadows beneath the trees, directly past the male who rested there.
