Blacktail Deer Plateau back to space so soon

The setting sun would attempt to cascade all of the plateau but here on the edge of it, there was still plenty of light to explore. He had set out to forage and test the knowledge that had been given to him. How would he do on his own? Perhaps he could find Bloodwo— Bloodroot — hidden where the trees thinned out. Green gaze hunted for any pops of white on the ground, flowering and delicate.

It was an odd task to busy himself with. He had never pictured himself searching for plants or learning their purposes. There was an undeniable usefulness to it though. What if something happened? Or what if he needed something to happen?

The new knowledge — the new power — excited him.
