Shadewood rearranging deck chairs on the titanic

With this land still being new to her, she decided to take the day to discover it's secrets. Ventrue over the borders and make her way deeper and deeper into the territory. But on this day she did find something different, just not what she had expected. Her ears perked at the strange sound of puttering through the trees. Pausing for a moment she allowed her ears to swivel and pinpoint its direction.

 Mixed in with the soil of the earth was a lightly browned wolf pup. She had seen the other youngsters in the pack at glance, though not formally. But she could tell this one was not any which resided here. They also appeared to be quite damp, interested since it had not rained, perhaps just coming from a swim?

Careful not to startle the pup she was careful to lighten her stance and speak from a few yards away. They reminded her so much of her younger siblings that she couldn't help but her curious as to their activities. "Hello there. What brings you here?"  she asked delicately.
