She was finally running on something more than instinct, a rudimentary understanding beginning to form as her ears blossomed and hearing joined the all-important tools she had to learn. Her eyesight had only gotten better, the tiny flecks of green she'd been born with slowly beginning to grow as she reached the two-month mark, a hint of their true color coming through.
She hadn't fully been able to pick out the lights up above, before; her sight had been too poor, and it had been too far. Since their discovery, she'd been stumbling outside to look at them the moment someone took an eye off of her, though generally, she didn't wander too far.
Tonight she'd come out to stare again, though her rapture was easily broken by something else. Or rather, someone else, the scent, somewhere, sort of...familiar. But also not? Morena's nose twitched curiously as she puzzled it out, but the memory of playing with Lainie was fresh enough in her mind to make the connection. Sibling!
Morena gave an eager yip and bounced forward to find them, stumbling a little though she was slowly growing into her legs. The paws were another matter, as she would quickly find out when she spotted the older pup and tripped over them in the same breath, rolling forward and landing on her chest with a grunt.
