In a lot of ways she was like Rosalyn: not a meek sheep to follow blindly in spite of her gentler nature, but not keen on calling all the shots, either. Maybe one day, she could be good Beta material, if she ever wanted it, but Alpha? No, it wasn't something she particularly aspired to.
