the taunt bounces around atausiq's skull as he departs. no doubt, it was meant to goad him into attacking again ...and interestingly enough, at the thought of being 'not a man' atausiq feels his hackles bristle. responding back, he considers, will only add gasoline to the fire that atausiq was rapidly trying to extinguish. he draws in a breath, turning his back when he can no longer see the stranger and lets it out as he continues on his way; though his sigh is more resigned than anything else.
