Herbalists' Cache the itch

Quietly Maksim trailed his nose along the floor, sniffing and snuffling curiously at various small plants which sprouted about the tangled roots of the trees and amongst the underbrush. He was on the look out for mint. It was a plant that he remembered Reiko mentioning was good for cooling the skin and soothing irritation. 

Suddenly a voice bellowed out in the near distance, causing the birds to flee from the tree tops all around him. Maksim lifted his head immediately to spot the dark wolf approaching him, a seemingly friendly grin plastered on his face. Although the tundra wolf had been enjoying the quiet of the forest up until now, he wasn't adversed to some company. 

"Do you usually make such a loud entrance?" He teased, his own grin pulling at the corners of his lips. "I'm Maksim, and you are?" The male asked, his tail waving easily behind him as he stepped to one side, inviting the stranger to join him.
