Ravensblood Forest Better Together

She's only a few dozen yards away, enjoying her own water based activities. A bath, followed by a roll in some sage. She never understood the appeal of marching about reeking of death, and instead much preferred to be well groomed. A queen had to look out together, act put together, in order to lead properly. A bedraggled pelt was lucky to strike fear in the heart of a squirrel. 
Her grooming however, was interrupted by Donovan's shout, and she rolled to her paws, shaking the twigs and sage leaf out of her pelt. It took her only a moment to arrive, an obvious expression of irritation on her features. 
"You could have done perfectly well without all the shouting. And why are you splashing around like a runt who's mother doesn't have the sense to keep him out of puddles?" She hissed, genuinely confused. Halflings, she supposed. It was tragic, really. No matter how good a wolf they tried to be, they would always be half witted, clumbsy, graceless abominations.
