It was not long before the scent of the predator faded from his flared nostrils and the wood seemed to have slipped back into a state of calm. Rohan remained wary for some time until he felt it was safe enough to lower his head and graze. When he had filled his belly, the prince aimed himself for the heart of the forest and trekked deeper. When the sunlight had dimmed, he had found a pleasant place to bed down for the night.
