Scimitar was met with a smirk and silence -- the silver male rising to the challenge with his own stance. Briefly, the agouti male wondered if the other male realized how obnoxious he came off as with each smirk that pressed to his lips, but Scimitar, while many things, was not one to encourage much in words. Instead, he would try to vent some of his frustration toward a sparring partner he knew to be competent.. and with that, a challenge.

Shadow did not seem to want to make the first move, and so the larger male did. HIs jaws gaping looser, he made to slide forward, his ears flat as his muzzle made to release a calculated bite toward his opponents shoulder -- one that would not maim or break flesh, but one that would certainly awaken his senses.

This was what he needed, and as the adrenaline coursed through him, his other thoughts and frustrations were quickly pushed aside.
he came and stole the wild
a crime so old as the sky and bone
