As Keith walked closer to the water, Kaname increased his step size. It was subtle, no one could really tell, but gradually, he was getting closer and closer. By the time the silver male's paws hit the water, Kaname was a pounce away from him. He kept the distance until Keith was halfway through, and that was when he delivered his strike.

Darting swiftly into the water, Kaname pushed the silver male into the water, quickly pouncing on top of him to hold his head under the river. Nearby the deer fled, lucky to be alive for the moment.
