Nearly 6 days; that's how long Izumi had been astray from the hushed willow's court. And while she did plan on making her way back soon this week, the dame would need to find out where that 'way' was first. Never in her travels had she wandered this deep into the Teekons before — she would need to find another method of returning to the mountains without tracing nonexistent footsteps.
Like a moth lured in by a tantalizing fire, the young femora was lured into this area by an overwhelmingly sweet fragrance that filled the air. It had to belong to fruit — no — berries. There were many berry bushes in this area by the looks of it. It was not the meat that she much preferred at this moment, but considering that this is the second day Izumi had gone without food, was being picky really an option? She continued.
It wasn't until the sound of rushed footsteps caught her attention that Izu would lift her cranium in high alert. The scent of another stood out in these fumes of berries and ceased rain, but who? Just up ahead was an image that confirmed her suspicions: A pair of burning sulfur orbs, peering through a head capped in shadows which contrasted the lighter colorations throughout his body. He appeared to be heading towards her — in which Izumi would stumble off to the side to make room for — but did not notice her yet. Their priorities lied more within what Fujiwara assumed was escaping something. What could've caused such a rush?
